2026-11-01: Every Dial at Rest

A wide architectural graphite, ink, and warm brass sketch on dark slate paper depicting a watchmaker’s mahogany bench holding an illuminated faceted emerald-teal holocron pyramid surrounded by aligned brass gauges with centered needles at rest, a jeweler’s brush sweeping tiny amber motes from a glass lens, a balanced mechanical scale, and a sleeping tabby cat curled in an open drawer beside a glowing emerald lantern.

Yesterday’s topology overhaul taught The Holocron how to find every service on manoir, mbp, and chalet. Sit with the dashboard open for ten minutes, though, and the watchmaker’s eye catches every speck of dust on the dial. Storage glowed amber at 85%. Haus Health held back three warnings. Repository hygiene docked seven points for diverged backup commits, while clicking Cilghal’s balance wing inside the native Electron window flashed Couldn't reach Cilghal (HTTP 400) even though the coach daemon itself was awake on loopback. None of those were cosmetic flaws. Every dial told the truth.

Five host warnings the glass refused to hide

Section titled “Five host warnings the glass refused to hide”

Qui-Gon’s rule is unforgiving. Never silence an honest gauge. When a needle drifts on the Status page, the fix belongs in the authoritative host repository underneath rather than in renderer CSS:

Signal on the glass What drifted underneath How we settled it permanently
Storage vital amber at 85% Four stale Rust worktree target/ trees (sanctum-rs-cathedral, sanctum-rs-proxyfix, sanctum-rs-scrub, sanctum-rs-presidio-rule) held 27.6 GiB of dead debug artifacts Verified zero open file descriptors against the worktrees and ran cargo clean, dropping /System/Volumes/Data to 83% (160 GiB free).
Watchdog degraded on kiwix + R2D2 manifest drift kiwix-serve-start.sh binds the MagicDNS tailnet interface only, while kiwix.yaml and runtime_catalog.yaml probed localhost:8888 Aligned both ~/.sanctum/services/kiwix.yaml and runtime_catalog.yaml to probe MagicDNS :8888, verified render_runtime_services.py --check exits 0, and cleared stale crash-loop alerts.
Haus Health 38/41 (3 warnings) Unprivileged force-flow (UserName=sanctum) could not traverse 0700 ~/Library/Logs for yoda-cert-monitor, fileproviderd-watchdog, or git-drift-sentinel Moved yoda-cert-monitor logging to 0644 ~/.openclaw/logs/yoda-cert-monitor.log and taught apple-services.sh to fall back to world-readable ~/.sanctum/state/*.json stamps — lifting /haus-health to 41/41 pass.
Repository vital 93/100 (git-drift) qui_gon_backup_bridge.sh rsynced encrypted VM backups at 04:00 without rebasing onto 03:00 vm-sync commits; msg-bus/queue.db-wal sat tracked in git Realigned the encrypted backup mirror to origin/main, added git pull --rebase -X theirs origin main to qui_gon_backup_bridge.sh, untracked SQLite WAL/SHM files, and lifted :3344/hygiene to 100/100 PRISTINE.
Vault over_cap bars & seHelper: WARN events and archive outgrew legacy static caps; the Secure Enclave gate Swift source had not been compiled into ~/.sanctum/bin/ Computed hardware-adaptive caps (--hub-caps --write), ran --consolidate (6 compiled, 112 pruned), and compiled sanctum-vault-se-gate (swiftc -O) with its SHA-256 manifest so all Vault preflight gates report PASS.

Cilghal’s daemon answered 200 OK. Yet its embedded tab failed. Probing :8770/panel/ exposed the culprit in two response headers:

referrer-policy: no-referrer
content-security-policy: default-src 'self'; frame-ancestors 'self' http://localhost:3344 app:

To frame loopback and tailnet web surfaces inside a file:// Electron window without loosening renderer isolation, ServiceIframe routes requests through httpProxy on 127.0.0.1:38883/<base64url-origin>/panel/. When the panel’s JavaScript subsequently calls root-relative fetch('/api/today'), the browser hits http://127.0.0.1:38883/api/today — omitting the <base64url-origin> prefix and relying on httpProxy to recover the upstream origin from req.headers.referer. Because cilghal-coach emitted Referrer-Policy: no-referrer, Chromium stripped the Referer header on every XHR. The proxy saw "api" instead. It rejected the call with HTTP 400.

Stripping upstream referrer-policy on the loopback proxy, pairing it with a SameSite=Lax __holocron_proxy_origin fallback cookie, and binding an unref()’d ephemeral loopback port whenever a secondary instance finds :38883 occupied eliminated both the HTTP 400 failure and a subtle event-loop hang in main-hardening-smoke.mjs child processes.

Calming the glass and uniting both languages

Section titled “Calming the glass and uniting both languages”

Host telemetry stood calm and green. Next came the renderer sweep. Walking every locked and unlocked destination with agent-browser turned up four final polish seams across the UI:

  1. Zero idle animation tax. HausBrainPanel previously ran twenty infinite Framer Motion JavaScript loops (repeat: Infinity) across seven MOC hubs. Replacing continuous JS keyframe loops with crisp CSS hover transitions dropped idle renderer CPU to near zero, while recursive ~/.sanctum/memory hydration restored live RECENT EVENTS and orbiting + leaves notes around every hub. Ring-buffer layers (events and archive) trimmed to 100% of cap now render calm green unless genuinely over_cap.
  2. Unmounting cleanly and crisp Council orbs. Navigating out of the unlocked Digital Twin view tripped React’s ErrorBoundary because a single braceless useEffect(() => chatRef.current?.scrollTo(...)) implicitly returned Chromium’s smooth-scroll Promise as a cleanup callback (TypeError: destroy is not a function). Wrapping the effect body in a block, deduplicating ipcRenderer stream listeners in preload.js, and replacing broken root-relative /assets/*.png tags in CouncilChamber with kyber radial-glow vector monoliths eliminated every runtime error and broken asset under file://.
  3. Whole-system unified memory & accurate fleet attribution. Rather than displaying only Castellan’s budgeted launchd subset (mlx-coder hiding the second sanctum-mlx binary), get-system-memory in main.js fuses vm_stat, top, ps, memory_pressure, and :2189/status across the full 64 GB / 128 GB physical pool — listing every running sanctum-mlx instance separately with its model and port (Muse-Glimmer-30B-4bit :3301 and Qwen3.8-27B-4bit :1337), top OS consumers (Lima VM, WindowServer, apps), and wired/compressed kernel memory. Fleet matching compares executable basenames so sanctum-castellan never collides with castellan-deadman and sanctum-chi never collides with sanctum-chitti, while Jocasta’s Archives window (:6666) injects ~/.sanctum/secrets/jocasta-crm-personal.token on an isolated session partition.
  4. Complete Québécois French and English parity. Every remaining English holdout on the French Status and Council surfaces — YodaCard, HausHealthPanel, R2D2StatusTile, HausBrainPanel, SanctumStackPanel, CouncilChamber, sidebar items, and Jocasta’s opening chat bubble — now switches live through i18n.tsx without a reload, while keeping yoda-port-drift-check.sh’s :8765 source contract intact.

Two final experiential seams surfaced once the dashboard opened in daily rotation. Both stemmed from split surfaces doing the same job:

  • End-to-end Apple Health, Withings scale, & Digital Twin synchronization. On mbp, cilghal-coach-token had not been provisioned and httpProxy did not inject bearer credentials on :8770, leaving Santé waiting on an access token while DigitalTwinDashboard showed static placeholder vitals and DigitalTwinPanel stalled on "Awaiting sync" (retired gemini-2.0-flash-exp plus writes inside read-only app.asar). Meanwhile health-center skipped loopback :2222 whenever SOCKET_PATH was set, and cilghal-coach queried only 14 days of daily vitals — dropping sporadic Withings scale weigh-ins already present in Apple Health (212.25 lb / 32.85% body fat). Provisioning 0600 ~/.sanctum/secrets/cilghal-coach-token across manoir and mbp, injecting bearer auth inside httpProxy, widening sporadic body/cardio lookback (weight, body_fat, vo2_max) to 90 days while keeping watch vitals bounded to 14 days, and turning the ⚖️ Physique row into an interactive Apple-style scale sheet (coach/withings.py: live Apple Health scale status, one-tap 0600 Quick Weigh-In, and CSRF-verified Direct Withings Wi-Fi Cloud OAuth2) closed every link in the health pipeline.
  • Apple Home–grade Maison unification. Three redundant sidebar destinations (Maison, Contrôles, and Ajouter un appareil), stacked double headers, competing sub-tab switchers, and 293 raw Home Assistant sub-entities (79 offline bridge ghosts plus 46 Sonos/camera internal config switches) collapsed into one calm Maison destination: a single property switcher (Manoir Nepveu / Chalet), an inline + Ajouter accessory onboarding drawer, live category summary pills, front-and-center Scènes, dual-setpoint heat_cool thermostat controls, Alarmo security actions, and progressive disclosure at the bottom for offline or secondary entities.

Why your wiring works: population superpowers and digestible science

Section titled “Why your wiring works: population superpowers and digestible science”

Static trait badges name what you carry without explaining why evolution kept it in the gene pool or how to live well with it. Replacing CURATED_SUPERPOWERS with coach/superpowers.py turned both Cilghal’s ⚡ Superpowers & Science panel and The Holocron’s Digital Twin into a population-wide scientific atlas covering 28 human variants — 21 genotypes across nine loci (COMT, BDNF, OXTR, ACTN3, PPARA, FOXO3, PPARG, CLOCK, and CYP1A2) plus seven cognitive profiles spanning dyslexic exploratory architecture, ADHD foraging, HSP sensitivity, systemizing, monotropic autism-spectrum pattern integrity, mental imagery extremes, and modal executive integration.

Every variant pairs plain-language molecular or neural biology and honest effect-size calibration (never claiming SNP chips read DAT1 or DRD4 repeat variants, or that common SNPs diagnose autism) with a three-line Best-Self Playbook (Lean into, Watch out, Daily lever) and NCBI-verified PubMed citations (PMID) opening cleanly in macOS via shell.openExternal.

Confirming neurotypes scientifically — and adapting Sanctum to fit the mind

Section titled “Confirming neurotypes scientifically — and adapting Sanctum to fit the mind”

A consumer genotyping array explains roughly 1–12% of phenotypic variance across polygenic neurotypes (Grove et al., 2019 · PMID 30804558). DNA alone cannot confirm or rule out dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum traits, sensory processing sensitivity, or systemizing drive. To let any person using Sanctum confirm their neurocognitive profile rigorously without overclaiming a licensed clinical diagnosis, coach/neuro_confirm.py (GET /neuro/lab, POST /neuro/assess) and NeuroLabCard.tsx triangulate four independent pillars per profile (0600 ~/.sanctum/state/neuro-optimization.json, multi-person household support, plus an automatic top-of-page 🔬 5-Minute Neurotype Confirmation Test banner on /panel/ whenever any profile’s screeners or micro-tasks are incomplete — auto-hiding once completed — alongside a top-bar launcher and three-step guided flow):

  1. Validated psychometric screeners (~3 minutes). Seven brief instruments — the WHO ASRS-v1.1 Part A screener (PMID 15841682), ARHQ-Brief orthographic vs spatial reading history (PMID 15505966), the three-factor SPS scale classifying Dandelion, Tulip, and Orchid sensitivity (PMID 9248053, PMID 29353876), SQ-Brief systemizing drive (PMID 12639333, PMID 30420503), the NICE-adopted AQ-10 adult autism referral screener (PMID 22265366) paired with CAT-Q adult camouflaging items (PMID 30361940), MEQ/MCTQ circadian phase (PMID 1027738, PMID 17936039), and VVIQ imagery vividness (PMID 26115582).
  2. Objective millisecond cognitive micro-tasks (performance.now()). Four rapid behavioral tasks immune to self-report bias: a Go/No-Go sustained-attention pulse computing intra-individual reaction-time coefficient of variation (ICV = SD / Mean RT, PMID 23872284), a pseudoword phonological decoding vs 2D/3D mental-rotation speed contrast (PMID 12744954), a deterministic rule-induction matrix (PMID 12639333), and a local 2×2-in-4×4 embedded-detail disembedding plus bivalent cognitive set-shifting contrast (PMID 16450045) separating pure flexible systemizing from monotropic switch cost.
  3. Genomic & biometric corroborators. Modifiers from health-profile.json (COMT rs4680, BDNF rs6265, OXTR rs53576, CLOCK rs1801260, CYP1A2 rs762551) paired with live Apple Watch HRV and prior clinical-assessment flags.
  4. Live Sanctum neuro-ergonomic compilation. Confirmed traits compile directly into live system adaptations across both UIs and the AI Council: widened letter spacing, 1.66 line height, and Apple Books–grade edge-to-edge justified card typography with native WebKit auto-hyphenation (PMID 22665803, PMID 23940709 — eliminating narrow 62ch dead gutters inside rounded cards), a 25:00 Hyperfocus sprint timer and circadian peak-window indicator in the Holocron toolbar, Orchid calm sanctuary glass ([data-neuro-calm="1"]) paired with one-click Home Assistant evening scene activation, monotropic predictable mode ([data-neuro-predictable="1"]), first-principles telemetry, and a live SANCTUM NEURO-ERGONOMIC CONTRACT injected into Cilghal, Jocasta, and Digital Twin prompts.

Active medications, daily supplements, and pharmacogenomic guardrails

Section titled “Active medications, daily supplements, and pharmacogenomic guardrails”

Coaching biometrics or DNA in isolation misses half the physiological picture when a user is on active metabolic therapy or building a daily supplement habit. Adding coach/medications.py (GET /medications, POST /medications, 0600 ~/.sanctum/cilghal-coach/medications.json keyed per household profile_id) brings a clean-room, population-generic Apple Health–style Medications & Daily Stack engine to every person using Sanctum — starting empty on fresh installs and secondary household profiles with zero personal data hardcoded in source, while loading the primary operator’s weekly Mounjaro (tirzepatide), daily Creatine Monohydrate (5 g / day, trying_daily), and O− blood type strictly from 0600 local state:

  • Biometric, scale & lab calibration. Creatine draws +2 to +4 lb (1–2 kg) of healthy osmotic water inside skeletal myocytes rather than fat tissue and benignly elevates serum creatinine via normal turnover (prompting Cystatin C eGFR confirmation on routine bloodwork, ISSN · PMID 28615996), while tirzepatide physiologically shifts resting heart rate +2 to +4 bpm via sinoatrial GLP-1 receptors and delays oral gastric-emptying Tmax (SURMOUNT-1 · PMID 35658024, PMID 32519795).
  • Cross-regimen synergy (Mounjaro × Creatine Lean-Mass Shield). Pairing GLP-1/GIP adipose reduction with daily 5 g creatine and weekly resistance training protects Type II muscle fibers and resting metabolic rate (PMID 35658024, PMID 34199420), surfaced directly inside both #meds and the ⚖️ Physique scale modal.
  • Dynamic genome, neurotype, ABO/Rh hematology & weight-indexed creatine guardrails. Each active agent cross-checks the user’s own genotype, confirmed neurotypes, live Withings weight, and 0600 per-profile ABO/Rh blood type (O− through AB+) — computing weight-calibrated creatine tiers (0.05 g/kg/day = 5 g/day skeletal-muscle foundation vs 0.08–0.10 g/kg/day = 8–10 g/day split 5 g AM + 4 g PM dual muscle-and-brain bioenergetics at 212.2 lb / 96.3 kg, PMID 8828669, PMID 10484486, PMID 37368234), Type O low-vWF clotting attenuation across F5 Factor V Leiden (28.3% vs 51.8–59.2% pooled VTE rate, PMID 36010287, PMID 17973651) while debunking the falsified “Blood-Type Diet” (PMID 24454746), CYP2C9 slow-metabolizer + low-vWF mucosal NSAID protection (PMID 32189324, PMID 23299820), SLCO1B1 statin checks (PMID 35152405), and COMT Met/Met + ADHD prefrontal ATP buffering (PMID 38418482, PMID 29704637).
